The recital is on Saturday May 22, 2010. Rehearsals are during the week of May 17th and will be in place of the regular class schedule. Rehearsals on Monday, Tuesday and Friday are at Ballet and All That Jazz. Rehearsals on Wednesday and Thursday are at the Maryland Theatre for dress rehearsal. SUMMER DANCE CLASSES
This year Ballet and All That Jazz will offer two 1 week sessions.
Session I – June 14 – 17, 2010
Session II – June 21 – 24, 2010
Class Time
Pre-Ballet (Ages 3-5) 9:15 – 10:00 a.m. or 5:30 - 6:15 p.m.
Beginning Ballet (Ages 6-8) 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Beginning Tap (Ages 5-8) 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.
Beginning Jazz (Ages 5-8) 6:15 – 7:15 p.m.
All classes will meet Monday through Thursday with visitation being held on the last day of classes. Tuition for each class is $11.00 per lesson, for a total of $44.00
All of our instructors are child-friendly and qualified. This is a great way to introduce your child to the world of dance or to try a different form of dance.
Summer dance camps are available for the more serious students.

Come and learn contemporary, jazz & hip-hop with Bonnie Slawson, of Motion Mania & Commotion Dance Studios in Germantown where she also directs Motion Mania Dance Theatre, a professional jazz company.

Susie Banks, formerly with the Houston Ballet and a Hagerstown native, will teach classical variations and character dance.

Tickets for the recital go on sale March 15th at the Maryland Theatre. Tickets are $5 and complimentary tickets are available for dancers if needed.

You may bring family members and friends as well as cameras and video recorders. Additional parking is available across the street. Mark your calendars. The last week of dance classes is December 14-19, 2009. Classes will resume on Monday, January 4, 2010! The Spring recital is Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Maryland Theatre, which is NOT Memorial weekend!
