I don’t want people who want to dance, I want people who have to dance.” George Balanchine

Ranelle W. Flurie, owner and director, has a B.A. in Dance from Mary Washington College, danced professionally in the Washington area, and has been teaching dance since 1978. She continues with her own dance education by taking technique classes throughout the year.

At Ballet and All That Jazz, we recognize the importance of a professional, well-trained staff and a safe, comfortable, learning environment. Our instructors have strong dance backgrounds and our Crestwood Drive location was designed specifically as a dance school, with spacious studios and changing areas for our students.

Currently, Ranelle Flurie serves on the Advisory board and the curriculum committee for BISFA, The Barbarn Ingram School For the Arts
